Domain names; normally contain your details, company title or organisation name and it’s these that provide you with a unique website address to enable you and your client’s access to your website, link to the Internet. Once your domain has been secured and registered, we will be able to provide you with email address’s relating.

To search for your domain, just enter your name, title of your business or organisation as you would like it to appear on the web in the search box to the right, review domain type preferred, select and then hit enter.

The Top Level Domain (TLD) will be the address you or anyone who wishes to visit your website will type in on their web browser bar.

Domains supplied by Hosting Vortex are charged for on a cycle of twelve-12 months, renewable annually or for longer periods, please refer to the schedule of costs above.

We will happily deal with domain name transfers, into our services. This can also be dealt with using our billing system, please just log-on, alternatively, give us a call and let us deal with the transfer for you.

The transfer of a domain to a different company effectively means you are cancelling your account for our supply of your chosen domain. Your hosting package can also be transferred but Hosting Vortex will make an administration charge of £25.00 in such an event.

Policies vary from country to country, but our automated registrar system should indicate to you if there is a particular problem with your chosen domain. All domain searches are sent to the main registrar, but availability can not be guaranteed at the point of application.
